As a last minute project, “doll house” was added to the list of things I MUST get done before Christmas. It’s going rather quickly and I’ll have loads of posts up soon documenting this thing and that thing. I’d like to show you a few pictures, of handmade doll house furniture and then I’ve done a video tutorial on making a doll house couch.
Our doll house is being constructed inside of an old medicine cabinet. Clif made two shelves to go inside to split the space into three levels. I’ve spent $10.00 to transform that old relic, and we almost have a finished doll house.
This is the bedroom inside the dollhouse. The furniture has been constructed largely from cardboard, fabric and paper. Be forewarned I am armed with a pink glue gun!
I covered the cardboard frame of this cabinet in straight sticks. The top is covered in patterned scrap-booking scraps. I broke my hole punch into four pieces making those towels. The “plates” are actually four buttons and the canister set are beads with flower buttons pushed into the holes. Not bad for a few minutes worth of rummaging and work. Now, on to the tutorial!
As promised You Tubers here is the finished couch, and a love seat, completely trimmed.
As soon as I get a minute to take a breather I’ll add some white pillows to break up all that red. For now, I’m pooped. Happy Wednesday everyone!

It must take so much patience to make something so small…very impressive.
