Over the weekend we celebrated five (yep, that’s 5) birthdays. Cheyenne, My Dad, Larry, Jade and Ember are all born in January. With the exception of Larry, they are all born with in three days of each other. I’m completely pooped from the celebrating and all the crafting leading up to the party.

For Cheyenne I made a zebra purse–

For Ember I made a few soft infant toys and a see through rattle

And Jade, the very evening before the party requested a dragon puppy. Since I had no idea what that was I had her choose between one or the other. She chose the dragon and for my first try ever, I think it turned out great.

I should be getting my new camera equipment soon and that means I will be able to film all these little projects. When I rest up a bit I’ll try to get some how to’s and explanations put up. Have a great Monday!

  1. These are positively wonderful; I love seeing your craftiness.

  2. Love, love, love the dragon puppy!

    • They certainly stretch the limits of my imagination. Patrick has asked for a gorilla fish? I don’t even know what that is. Dragons are really fun to make though, I might keep working at them.

  3. Please please please do a tutorial on the infant toy. How did you do the bead part especially? It’s so cool. I’m trying not to buy a lot of stuff for my most recent baby, his older siblings had way too much and I’ve tossed most of their stuff by now!

    • Joquena,
I will upload a tutorial on the see through rattle right now. When you see what I used you’ll die, it was truly a moment of genius and desperation. I know what you mean about toys they grow out of too fast, or never use. I try to stay with the keeping it simple method. That soft toy has bells inside, and the rings are shower curtain rings. Whatever works right?

  4. I’m telling you I want one of those purses. lol No really I’m not joking.
